LUPIN MASTERPIECE

LUPIN MASTERPIECE
LUPIN MASTERPIECE

One of the fabulouis Westcountry Lupins from Sarah Conibear in the UK.  This one has magnificent purple-aubergine coloured flowers with specks of orange, an amazing colour combination.  Stately spires appear in early autumn and make a wonderful statement in the middle or back of the border or indeed can be grown in pots.  Deadheading following flowering is imperative if you are to have a further flush of flowers, or even two, later in the year. As these plants are hybridised any seed saved will not necessarily produce the same colour Lupin.  They prefer full sun but will take a certain amount of shade if it is not too deep.  Well drained soil which is lime free is also recommended for these fabulous plants. They can be used as cut flowers for the house.  This variety grows to a height of 75cm.
