Astrantia are one of the most useful plants in the garden.  This variety flowers almost non stop from late spring to early summer.  Prefers partial shade to keep its fantastic colour, but will grow in drier spots in the garden if kept watered for the first season.  Deadhead regularly for good rebloominig.  Dark red flowers, which are large, and the leaves take on a purple tinge before turning green. 75cm
