A collected species from the Chinese province of Sechaun by Dan Hinckley. A woodland treasure which unfurls tall, bamboo like stalks and magnificent purple leaves. The foliage lightens to a greenish purple come summer. The clusters of small white bells are produced April to July, followed by purple blue berries. Light shade is preferred as it will lose its purple colouring if grown in too much shade. 1.2m
