ERAGROSTIS curvula ‘Totnes Burgundy’  A wonderful grass with mature leaves turning a stunning deep burgundy red from the tips down.  Long arching sprays of  beige flowers.  Open sunny spot required.  90cm

MISCANTHUS  Very statuesque plants that are easily accommodated in a mixed border.  They remain lovely in winter.

 

M. s. var. condensatus ‘Cabaret’  One of the most spectacular Miscanthus.  Remarkably wide leaves which can be as much as 5cm across, with a central cream stripe.  Flowers late October/November.

M. s. ‘China’  We have grown this plant in our garden for many years now and it always stops us in our tracks when it flowers in late summer.  Broad leaves with white mid ribs, and the flowers are large and a reddish maroon.  200cm
